Forty-three astronauts participated in thirty-one manned spaceflights in the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Skylab Programs and presented here are their autographs.
The 43 astronauts who flew in space on the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Skylab missions are considered America's pioneer astronauts and they led the way to the moon. 24 of the 43 were on lunar flights and those 24 either walked on the moon, orbited it or looped around it, with three (Lovell, Cernan and Young) making two lunar voyages each.
The 43 flight covers shown below are autographed by each of the 43 pioneer astronauts and are arranged in order of each astronaut's first flight, with their first flight indicated.
A "TTM" indicates that I received their autograph through the mail via a mail-in request. This is usually followed by a date that indicates the year in which the autograph was received. Some of the 43 autographs were bought from dealers, received as gifts, obtained by trades or were the result of sending the cover to be signed for a fee.
